As Ramadan 2025 comes to an end, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait, and Qatar have officially announced that Eid Al-Fitr will be celebrated on Sunday, March 30, 2025. The Shawwal crescent was sighted on Saturday evening, confirming the festival’s date in these countries.
However, several nations, including Pakistan, India, Indonesia, and Australia, did not sight the moon, meaning Eid will be observed on Monday, March 31, 2025.
Saudi Arabia has prepared 19,887 mosques for Eid prayers, ensuring a smooth experience for worshippers. Meanwhile, Pakistan’s Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will meet on Sunday to confirm the Eid date, with expectations pointing toward March 31 celebrations.
Despite varying Eid dates, Muslims worldwide will mark the occasion with special prayers, festive meals, and family gatherings, embracing the spirit of unity and joy.
