In a groundbreaking leap for transportation, Dutch company PAL-V has introduced a flying car at the Sharjah Research Technology and Innovation Park. Priced at Dh2.9 million (approximately PKR 21 crore), this innovative two-seater transforms from a road vehicle to an aircraft, with a flight range of up to 500 kilometers.

Expected to take off in UAE skies by 2027, the vehicle features foldable propellers and is built for both safety and practicality. From emergency services to luxury travel, it’s designed for a variety of uses.

UAE-based aviation company Jetex has already placed an order for 100 flying cars, showcasing strong demand. PAL-V is also committed to developing eco-friendly versions in the future, potentially changing how we commute in cities like Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

With government approvals in motion, the UAE could soon lead the world in bringing flying cars from science fiction into real-world skies.
