Global Outage Shakes X – Musk Blames Cyberattack!

TwitterDown

Social media giant X (formerly Twitter) experienced a widespread outage on Monday, leaving users worldwide unable to access the platform. Reports surged on Downdetector, with over 40,000 complaints in the US alone, alongside thousands in the UK, Pakistan, and other regions.

Elon Musk took to X, revealing that the platform was facing a “massive cyberattack”, suggesting a nation-state or coordinated hacking group might be responsible. Internet security experts linked the issue to denial-of-service (DoS) attacks, which flood servers with fake traffic to cause severe disruptions.

Despite mounting concerns, X has yet to release an official statement or provide a timeline for full restoration. Users remain in the dark, wondering whether this is just another glitch—or something far more sinister.

💬 What do you think? Was X targeted by hackers or something bigger?
