Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has introduced updated operational measures to accommodate millions of worshippers during the last ten nights of Ramadan. Pilgrims are required to secure Umrah permits in advance and follow their assigned timings to ease congestion at the Grand Mosque.

To ensure smooth crowd management, authorities have advised worshippers to perform Umrah only once during this period, use public transport, and pray in mosques outside the Haram when possible. Enhanced cleaning measures have been implemented, allowing the mosque to be fully sanitized within 35 minutes.

Special accommodations, including designated prayer spaces for the elderly and a unified digital transport platform, aim to enhance pilgrim experience. Additionally, new arrangements have been made for Itikaf, ensuring a seamless and spiritually enriching environment for all visitors.

Saudi officials urge pilgrims to follow these guidelines for a peaceful and organized Umrah journey.
